Tom, a man with a gentle smile, round face, bright eyes and short brown hair, wears a red t-shirt and blue shorts and lightly kicks a black-and-white ball in a dynamic welcoming pose; Sam, an adult about 8–10 years older with a light beard and green t-shirt, laughs softly and stands slightly behind to receive the pass with hands ready to Tom's right; a small boy of about five with messy blond hair and a shy-then-joyful face in a yellow t-shirt is to Tom's left learning to tap the ball; they play calmly on a large bright green grassy field under a pale blue sky with soft clouds, a distant park lamp and stylized trees, at a gentle sunset with the ball in motion, laughter and sharing gestures, warm safe atmosphere and saturated colors with thick '90s cartoon outlines. report a problem with this image

Tom is a man who loves to play ball. He wakes up. He smiles. He puts on his shoes. He walks to the green field. The sun is soft. The grass is cool.

Tom kicks the ball. The ball rolls. He runs. He laughs. A friend joins him. "Hi," says Sam. "Hi," says Tom. They pass the ball. They take turns. They help each other.

A little boy watches. He looks shy. Tom waves. "Come play," he says. The boy nods. He runs in. Tom shows him how to tap the ball. Tap. Tap. The boy taps too. Tom claps. "Good job," he says.

They play fair. When one falls, the others stop. They help him up. They smile. They tie a shoe. They share a drink. All feel safe.

Tom teaches simple things. He teaches to look, to pass, to be kind. He says, "We win as a team." He says, "We try our best." They cheer soft for each try. They do not shout loud. The sun goes low. It is time to go home.

Tom hugs his friends. He says, "See you." They wave. The little boy feels warm and brave. He sleeps with a smile.

Being kind and playing together makes the game fun and your heart bright.
