Part One: Snaily's Silly Idea
One splashy spring morning, Snaily the snail woke up with a giggle. His shell was shiny and blue, and his eyes peeked out from wiggly stalks. “Today,” he announced to the birds and the bees, “I will build the tallest, wobbliest animal pyramid ever!”
Snaily's best friend, Boppy the bunny, wiggled his nose. “A pyramid?” asked Boppy, with a hop. “But you're so little and slow!”
“I may be little, but I have big ideas,” said Snaily, giving Boppy a cheeky wink. “Will you help me?”
Before Boppy could answer, Flippa the frog leapt out from the pond, landing with a plop. “Did someone say pyramid? I can jump right to the top!”
“Me too!” chirped Squeaky the mouse, who zipped over carrying a cheese crumb. “Let's be the silliest pyramid ever!”
Snaily grinned. “The silliest and the tallest!”
Just then, Buzzy the bee buzzed by, carrying a bubble wand. “If you want it tall, you'll need my super-duper, extra-huge bubble wand!” said Buzzy, with a fancy loop. “It's good for silly things.”
Snaily's eyes sparkled. “Thank you, Buzzy! That'll be our special trick!”
Together, the friends hurried to the middle of the meadow. The grass was soft, and the sun was warm. Everyone was ready for the silliest pyramid ever.
Part Two: The Wiggly Stack
Snaily took his place at the bottom of the pile. He was slow, but his shell was strong and round. “I'll be the base. Climb on, friends!”
Squeaky the mouse tiptoed onto Snaily's shell. His little feet tickled.
“Don't wiggle, Squeaky!” Snaily laughed. “You'll make me giggle!”
Next came Boppy the bunny, who hopped onto Squeaky's back. “Whoa!” shouted Squeaky, but he held on tight.
Boppy's ears flopped and flapped. “Steady!” Boppy called.
Flippa the frog took a big leap and landed on Boppy's fluffy head. “Easy peasy!” croaked Flippa, doing a frog split.
Up above, Buzzy the bee hovered with the bubble wand. “Ready for the super-duper, extra-huge bubble?” buzzed Buzzy.
“Ready!” all the animals cheered.
Buzzy dipped the wand into a rainbow soap pot and swished, swirled, and swooped. A giant bubble grew, so big and shiny you could see your face in it!
“On the count of three!” buzzed Buzzy. “One, two, THREE!”
Buzzy swooped down and placed the giant bubble gently on Flippa's head. Now Flippa was wearing a bubble hat.
Everyone burst out laughing. “You look like a space frog!” Squeaky squeaked.
But suddenly, the pyramid began to wiggle and wobble. Squeaky's whiskers wiggled, Boppy's tail twitched, and Snaily squeaked, “Hold on, everyone!”
Part Three: Crash, Giggle, Repeat!
The pyramid swayed left, then right, then left again. Snaily tried to stay as still as a rock, but he couldn't help wiggling his eyes.
“Careful, Boppy! Not so bouncy!” called Flippa, trying to hold his bubble hat.
Boppy giggled. “I can't help it! I have wiggly bunny feet!”
All at once, Squeaky sneezed. “Achoo!”
Whoosh—Flippa bounced up, the bubble popped with a POP and a SPLASH, and everyone tumbled down in a twisty, turny, tipsy heap.
They landed in a pile of giggles and grass, eyes wide and blinking, covered in shiny, rainbow-y bubbles.
Snaily peeked out from beneath Boppy's big bunny ear. “Are you all right?” he asked, blinking soap bubbles from his eyes.
Boppy waggled his ears. “That was bouncy fun!”
Flippa wiggled his frog toes. “Again! Again!”
Squeaky peeked out from under Flippa's leg. “Can I be on top next time?”
Buzzy the bee zipped in a loop. “Don't forget my bubble hat!”
They all laughed, rolling over, tickling each other with giggles. The sun shone down, and a gentle breeze blew over the meadow.
Part Four: The Greatest Pyramid and a Giggle Storm
After a little rest and a lot more laughter, Snaily had another idea. “Let's try again, but this time let's hold hands—or paws—or wings—or whatever we have!”
“Good thinking, Snaily!” said Boppy. “Let's do it together.”
This time, with everyone holding tight, Snaily slid to the bottom, Squeaky scrambled up, Boppy bounced in place, Flippa leaped, and Buzzy hovered.
Together, they made a little pyramid—leaning and laughing, but not falling.
Buzzy twirled above them, waving the bubble wand. “Ready for the Bubble Storm?”
“Yes!” everyone shouted.
Buzzy swooped and whirled, making hundreds of tiny rainbow bubbles that floated all around. As the bubbles tickled their noses and paws, they burst out laughing again, louder than ever before.
“Look at us!” giggled Snaily. “We're the wobbliest, silliest pyramid ever!”
A gentle breeze made the bubbles dance and swirl. The animals looked at each other, faces shiny with soap and smiles.
“Next time, maybe we can build a pyramid in the pond!” said Flippa.
“Or in a tree!” said Boppy.
Squeaky grinned. “As long as we do it together!”
They all hugged and laughed so hard that the grass shook and the butterflies flew away. Even the clouds seemed to giggle, drifting across the bright blue sky.
And from that day on, whenever Snaily and his friends heard a giggle in the breeze, they remembered their wobbly, wonderful pyramid—and how much fun it is to do silly things together.
