The Great Teddy Bear Search

One sunny afternoon, three little friends named Lily, Mia, and Zoe were playing in the garden. Lily, with her curly hair bouncing, was dancing around. Mia, who loved her bright red wheelchair with sparkly wheels, was giggling. And Zoe, with her big, blue eyes, was busy building a block tower.

"Oh no!" cried Lily suddenly, stopping in her tracks. "Mr. Teddy is missing!"

Mia wheeled over quickly. "Let's find him! Mr. Teddy must be hiding."

"Yes, let's have an adventure!" said Zoe, clapping her hands.

A Silly Adventure

The three friends began their search. First, they looked under the big, leafy tree. "Mr. Teddy, are you here?" called out Lily.

But only a squirrel peeked out, chattering and shaking its tail. The girls giggled. "Not you, Mr. Squirrel! We're looking for Mr. Teddy!"

Next, they searched by the sandbox. Zoe dug with her little spade. "Mr. Teddy, are you hiding here?"

A tiny, green frog jumped out, landing on Mia's lap. "Ribbit!" went the frog.

"Hello, froggy," laughed Mia, gently placing it back. "But we need Mr. Teddy!"

Finally, they checked near the flower patch. Mia rolled up close, and Zoe pointed at a patch of daisies.

"Mr. Teddy, is that you hiding there?" asked Lily.

But it was only a fluffy cat, sunbathing and stretching lazily. "Meow," said the cat.

The friends laughed again. "Hello, kitty! We're looking for Mr. Teddy, not you!"

The Surprise Ending

Feeling a bit tired, the three friends sat on the grass. "Where could Mr. Teddy be?" wondered Zoe.

Then Mia had a funny idea. "Maybe Mr. Teddy is playing hide and seek with us!"

Lily jumped up. "Oh, maybe he's in the toy box! We forgot to check there!"

Mia and Zoe grinned. "Let's go, let's go!"

Together, they hurried to the toy box. And there, right at the bottom, was Mr. Teddy, smiling up at them with his button nose.

"There you are, Mr. Teddy!" cheered Lily, hugging him tight.

Mia and Zoe laughed, relieved and happy. "You are a silly bear, Mr. Teddy!"

As the sun began to set, the three friends and Mr. Teddy sat together, watching the sky turn pink and orange.

"Today was the best adventure ever," said Zoe.

"Yes, and the funniest!" added Mia, giving Mr. Teddy a little pat.

"Goodnight, Mr. Teddy," whispered Lily, as they all cuddled together, ready for dreams filled with more giggles and surprises.
