The Homework Surprise
One sunny afternoon, Timmy, Benny, and Sammy sat around a big, wooden table. They had bright crayons, funny stickers, and lots of paper. "Let's do our homework!" said Timmy, grinning wide.
"Homework is fun!" giggled Benny, drawing a big, red apple.
"I like sticking stickers!" Sammy laughed, sticking a star on his nose.
As they colored and scribbled, something very strange happened. A big, orange balloon floated in through the window. "Look!" shouted Timmy, pointing with his crayon.
"Oh! A balloon!" giggled Benny, bouncing up and down.
"But where did it come from?" wondered Sammy, tilting his head.
The balloon was not just any balloon. It had a big, happy face and it was floating all by itself. "Hello, boys!" it squeaked in a funny voice.
"Did the balloon just talk?" Timmy asked, eyes wide open.
"Yes, yes, I did!" the balloon giggled. "I'm Billy the Balloon!"
The Silly Balloon Adventure
"Billy the Balloon! What do you want?" asked Benny, trying to catch it.
"I want to play! Let's have fun!" said Billy, bouncing around the room.
"But we have homework," Sammy said, looking at his paper.
"Oh, homework can wait!" Billy laughed. "Let's play a game!"
"What game?" Timmy asked, wiggling his toes.
"Let's play hide and seek!" Billy suggested, spinning in the air.
Timmy, Benny, and Sammy giggled. "Okay!" they all said together.
"You hide, and I'll find you!" said Billy, covering his eyes with imaginary hands.
The boys ran, giggling and hiding behind the curtains, under the table, and behind the sofa. "Ready or not, here I come!" Billy called out, floating around the room.
"Boo!" shouted Benny, jumping out from behind the curtain.
"Found you!" laughed Billy, bouncing happily.
"I'm next!" shouted Sammy, crawling out from under the table.
"Found you too!" Billy sang, doing a little twirl.
Finally, Timmy rolled out from behind the sofa. "You found us all!" he giggled.
A Sleepy Ending
"That was fun!" said Billy, floating gently to the ground.
"But now we should finish our homework," Sammy said, yawning a little.
"Homework can be fun too," Benny said, sticking a sticker on Billy.
Billy giggled. "Okay, I'll help you!" he said, floating over the table.
The boys sat back down, picking up their crayons and stickers. With Billy's help, they finished their homework quickly. "We did it!" Timmy cheered.
"Thank you, Billy," Benny said, giving the balloon a big hug.
"It was fun playing with you!" Sammy said, smiling as his eyes started to droop.
"It's bedtime now," Timmy said, rubbing his eyes.
"Yes, time for bed," Benny agreed, yawning a big yawn.
"Sleep tight, and have sweet dreams," Billy whispered, floating back out the window.
"Goodnight, Billy!" the boys said together, as they snuggled into their beds, dreaming of balloons, crayons, and funny games.
And as the moon shone brightly outside, all was calm and cozy, and the boys fell asleep with big smiles on their faces.
