Part One: A Bell for a Pocket
It was Christmas time. Snowflakes danced outside. Four little boys played near the shiny tree. Their names were Max, Leo, Sam, and Ben. They wore warm socks and giggled a lot.
But someone else was there too. He was small and quick. He had a red hat and twinkly shoes. He was the Christmas Mischief Elf!
The elf tiptoed behind the boys. He held a tiny silver bell. It jingled softly. The elf wanted to put the jingle bell in someone's pocket.
Max was building a tower with blocks. Leo was drawing with bright crayons. Sam and Ben were rolling a red ball. The elf grinned and hid behind the sofa.
“Who will I choose?” whispered the elf. He peeked at Max. Max's pocket was big and soft.
Part Two: Silly Surprises
The elf crawled closer. He made a silly face. The boys laughed. “Did you see that little hat?” asked Ben.
The elf crept behind Max. He reached out his tiny hand. Plop! The bell slipped into Max's pocket. Max felt a tickle.
“What's in my pocket?” said Max. He found the bell and shook it. Jingle, jingle! The bell made everyone laugh.
“It's a magic bell!” said Leo. “Let's share it!” said Sam.
They took turns shaking the bell. Jingle for Max, jingle for Leo, jingle for Sam, jingle for Ben. The room filled with happy sounds.
The elf clapped his hands. He did a little dance. The boys saw the elf and giggled.
“Thank you, Elf!” shouted the boys. “Come play with us!”
Part Three: Sharing and Smiles
The elf joined their game. They built a tall tower together. They shared the crayons and drew stars. The bell jingled and jingled.
No one felt left out. Everyone had a turn. The boys gave the elf a cookie. The elf gave everyone a tiny hug.
Outside, the snow kept falling. Inside, the room was warm with laughter. The elf winked and curled up on a soft cushion.
The boys snuggled close. The bell jingled softly. Christmas was full of sharing, giggles, and kind friends.
All was merry and bright.
