Next to her, a wise old Carrot wiggled his green top. “I'll set up the games,” he said, his voice full of enthusiasm. “We can have a treasure hunt and a sack race!”
Sammy giggled, “Perfect! And I'll make sure we have the best treats!” He rolled back to his picnic blanket and started packing all the delicious goodies. He packed crunchy chips, refreshing lemonade, and even some cookies shaped like hearts.
As the day went on, the park buzzed with excitement. Sammy and his friends worked hard, decorating with flowers and colorful ribbons. They set up a big sign that read, “Happy Father's Day, Papa Pickle!” and laid out all the treats on the picnic blanket.

Papa Pickle's heart melted like butter on a warm biscuit. “This is the best surprise ever!” he said, chuckling happily. “You all are the sweetest friends!”

After the initial excitement, everyone settled down to enjoy the picnic. Sammy poured lemonade while Tomato served salad, and Carrot handed out the cookies. They all laughed and shared stories, their hearts full of joy.

After the treasure hunt, they played a sack race. Sammy and Papa Pickle hopped alongside each other, giggling and wobbling, trying not to fall. “This is harder than it looks!” Papa Pickle exclaimed, his belly shaking with laughter.
“I think you're winning!” Sammy yelled, trying to keep up. In the end, they both tumbled over the finish line, landing in a heap of giggles and joy.
