The girls spent the afternoon cutting colorful paper into stars and ribbons, creating a dazzling banner that read “Happy Father's Day!” They baked cookies shaped like mustaches and ties, giggling as they tried to make them look perfect, even if they ended up a little lopsided.
As they worked, Mia noticed Lily's wheelchair. “You know, even if you can't stand up, your magic show will still be super cool! Your dad will love seeing you perform!”
Lily smiled, feeling a warm glow of appreciation. “Thanks, Mia. I just want to make him proud.”
“Hurry up! We need to practice your magic routine!” Mia said, her eyes twinkling with excitement.

“Wow! You're a natural!” Mia cheered, clapping her hands.
Just then, Lily's dad walked in, his eyes widening at the sight. “What's going on in here?”
“Surprise!” the girls shouted, hiding behind the couch. “You'll see soon!”
Lily's dad chuckled. “I can't wait! But I hope you're not planning anything too crazy!”
“Just wait and see!” Mia called back, trying to stifle her giggles.
As they continued to practice, they decided that they needed one more special touch. “Let's make a funny video message for him!” Mia suggested. “We can pretend to be his silly assistants!”
Lily nodded enthusiastically. They grabbed Mia's tablet and recorded themselves pretending to be clumsy magicians, dropping cards and using silly voices. They laughed so hard that tears streamed down their faces.

Finally, the time came for the big surprise. They had set everything up perfectly — the cookies were arranged on a plate, the banner hung proudly, and the magic show was ready to go.

“Yep! And we have a magic show just for you!” Mia declared, puffing out her chest proudly.
