“Not so fast! You must answer my riddle first!” the troll exclaimed, tapping his fingers eagerly.

The troll scratched his head. “I have keys but open no locks. I have space but no room. I have you and me but no other. What am I?”

After crossing the bridge, Lila and Tilly entered a clearing filled with enormous mushrooms and sparkling butterflies. In the center stood a giant stone with a carving of a wise owl.
“Greetings, young adventurer!” the owl hooted. “To proceed, you must answer my question. What is most important in a friendship?”
Lila thought about her friends back in Willowbend—how they laughed, shared secrets, and stood by each other. “Trust! Trust is the most important thing in a friendship!” she answered confidently.
The wise owl nodded, his eyes twinkling. “Very well, you may pass. But remember, true friends help each other, especially in tough times.”
