Chapter 1: The Happy Day
Once upon a time, in a cheerful little school called Sunnydale, the sun was shining bright. The birds were singing, and the flowers were blooming. It was a special day! It was Father's Day!
All the children were bubbling with excitement. They were busy preparing surprises for their daddies. Billy, Sam, and Lucy, three best friends, were in class with their teacher, Miss Rosie. Miss Rosie had a big smile on her face.
“Today, we will make something special for our dads!” she announced. “Let's show them how much we love them!”
Billy jumped up and down. “I want to make a giant card!” he squealed.
Sam, who was sitting in his wheelchair, said, “I want to bake cookies!”
Lucy clapped her hands. “I'll help you, Sam! We can make the best cookies ever!”
Everyone in the class giggled. They were all excited about surprises! “Let's do it!” they cheered together.
Chapter 2: The Wonderful Workshop
The children gathered around a big table filled with colorful paper, shiny glue, and lots of fun decorations. Billy grabbed a big piece of bright yellow paper. “This will be the card!” he said with a big smile.
Lucy found a pile of stickers. “Look! Stars, hearts, and smiley faces!” she exclaimed. They started to decorate the card with stars and hearts. They wrote, “We LOVE you, DADDY!” in big letters.
Meanwhile, Sam rolled his wheelchair to the kitchen area. “Let's bake cookies!” he said happily. Lucy joined him with a big mixing bowl. “What do we need?” she asked.
“Flour, sugar, and chocolate chips!” said Sam, pointing to the ingredients.
They started measuring the flour. Lucy poured it into the bowl. “Yummy!” she said. “I can't wait for daddy to taste them!”
As they mixed the dough, they laughed and made funny faces. “We're cookie chefs!” Lucy giggled.
“But we need to be patient,” Sam reminded her, mixing carefully. They waited until the cookies were just right. “Let's put them in the oven!” Sam said.
With teamwork, they slid the cookie tray in carefully. “Now we wait!” they said together, smiling wide.
Chapter 3: The Big Surprise
As the cookies baked, Billy was still decorating his card. He was focused, drawing funny pictures of his dad fishing and riding a bike. “My dad loves to fish!” he said proudly.
Lucy peeked at the oven. “I smell something yummy! Are the cookies ready?” she asked.
Sam laughed. “Not yet! We must wait!”
Suddenly, the oven timer went ding! “Yay! Cookies are done!” Sam cheered. They carefully took out the cookies. They were golden brown and smelled delicious!
“Let's cool them down,” said Lucy, putting them on a rack.
Once the cookies cooled, they put them in a cute box. “Look how pretty! Daddy will love them!” Lucy said, grinning from ear to ear.
Billy finished his card just in time. “Look at my card! It's bright and full of love!” he showed proudly.
The three friends high-fived each other. “This is the best Father's Day ever!” they cheered together.
Chapter 4: The Celebration of Love
Finally, it was time to go home. The children packed their surprises carefully in their backpacks. “I can't wait to see my dad's face!” Billy said excitedly as they walked out of the school.
At home, they hugged their dads tightly. “Happy Father's Day!” they shouted!
Billy gave his dad the big yellow card. “Look! It's for you!” His dad's eyes sparkled with happiness. “Oh, thank you, Billy! This is wonderful!”
Sam presented the cookie box. “These are special cookies we made together!”
“Yummy! You are all so sweet!” Sam's dad smiled and enjoyed a cookie.
Lucy handed her dad a tiny card. “I love you, Daddy!” she said.
“I love you too, my sweet girl!” he replied, giving her a big hug.
As the day went on, the children played, laughed, and shared stories with their dads. The warmth of hugs and love filled the air.
At the end of the day, they all sat together, munching on cookies and sharing their favorite memories. Sam smiled and said, “Today was the best day ever! We worked hard, we waited, and we shared love!”
“Yes! Happy Father's Day!” they all cheered again, feeling happy and grateful.
And so, on this special day, the children learned that small gestures of love can bring the biggest smiles. They discovered that love is in the effort, the patience, and the joy of being together as a family.
