Three boys at a colorful carnival street: Max, 6, short brown hair, shiny red hat, on the left spinning and smiling; Leo, 5, tousled blond hair, slightly forward in the center holding a large blue balloon high, red shoes and a look of wonder; Sam, 5, black hair on the right, seated or crouched, playing a small yellow drum with sticks and mouth open as if singing; striped red-and-white banners overhead, pastel wooden stalls, round string lights, light paved ground with pink and blue confetti, and a large flower-decorated float in the background, joyful atmosphere and vivid colors. report a problem with this image

Once upon a time, three little boys named Max, Leo, and Sam were excited. Today was the carnival day! The air was filled with music, "la-la-la," and the sky was bright with colors.

Max wore a shiny red hat. "Look at me!" he said, spinning around. Leo had a big blue balloon. "Boing, boing!" it bounced. Sam had a tiny drum. "Tap-tap-tap," he played a happy tune.

They held hands and skipped along the street. "Hop, hop, hop," their feet went. Everywhere they looked, there were bright balloons, smiling faces, and friendly clowns. "Hello!" the clowns waved.

The boys saw a big, colorful parade. "Wow!" they said together. There were giant floats with twinkling lights. One float had a big, friendly lion. "Roar!" said the lion, but it was just pretend. The boys giggled. "Roar!" they replied, pretending too.

Max saw a stand with yummy treats. "Yum-yum," he said, pointing at cotton candy. Leo and Sam nodded. They each got a fluffy, pink cloud of candy. "Mmm," they said, licking the sweetness.

Then, they heard music again. "Let's dance!" said Sam. Max and Leo nodded. Together, they danced in a circle. "Round and round," they went, laughing and clapping.

When the sun began to set, the boys sat together on a soft blanket. They watched the stars twinkle above. "What a fun day," said Leo. Max and Sam nodded, feeling happy and sleepy.

And so, they learned that every day can be bright and joyful when shared with friends.
