Once upon a time, in a cheerful little house with a bright yellow door, lived a girl named Bella. Bella was four (and a half!) and full of imagination. She loved sparkly things, silly jokes, and adventures that made her giggle.
One night, as Bella lay in bed, she saw a soft, fluffy pink cloud float right up to her window. The cloud had sparkles all over it, like someone had sprinkled sugar on cotton candy.
The cloud whispered, “Bella… are you ready for an adventure?”
Bella sat up straight. “Yes! I'm ALWAYS ready!”
She climbed gently onto the cloud, and WHOOSH — off they floated into the starry night sky.
The cloud carried Bella to a magical land she had never seen before. Below her was a tall, bouncy mountain made entirely of marshmallows. The whole mountain was soft and squishy, and it smelled like warm vanilla.
“Go on!” the cloud said. “Slide down!”
Bella took a deep breath, sat down at the top, and slid all the way down the marshmallow mountain — sproing! boing! wheeeeee!
At the bottom, she bounced right into a friendly creature with big fluffy ears.
“I'm Mallow,” said the creature. “Keeper of the Marshmallow Mountain! Would you like to help me? The marshmallows keep sinking because the giggle bubbles escaped!”
Bella gasped. “Giggle bubbles? What are those?”
Mallow pointed to a jar lying on its side. Tiny glowing bubbles floated out, giggling nonstop.
“Heeheehee! Hahaha!” went the bubbles as they drifted away.
“Oh no!” Bella said. “We have to catch them!”
So Bella and Mallow chased the giggle bubbles together. Bella used a giant marshmallow net (it was sticky but very fun), and every time she caught a bubble it made a squeaky little laugh — “teehee!”
When all the giggle bubbles were safely back in their jar, the mountain stopped sinking and stood tall and fluffy again.
Mallow smiled. “Thank you, Bella. For your bravery and your giggles, you may choose a Marshmallow Wish.”
Bella thought carefully.
“I wish,” she said, “for my magic cloud to take me on new adventures whenever I want — and for it to always bring me home in time for cuddles.”
The cloud glowed happily. “Wish granted!”
That night, the pink sparkly cloud brought Bella safely back to her room. She climbed into bed, warm and proud.
And from then on, whenever Bella needed a magical adventure, the Cloud of Wonders floated to her window — ready to whisk her away to new lands, new friends, and new giggle-filled stories.
