In a bright, colorful forest, there lived a fluffy little wolf named Wally. Wally had soft, silver fur that sparkled in the sunlight. He loved to play with his friends, Luna the rabbit and Benny the bear. They often chased butterflies and collected shiny stones.
One evening, as the sun began to set, Wally looked up at the sky. "Look at the moon!" he said, his eyes wide with wonder. The moon was big and round, shining like a giant silver coin.
Luna hopped closer. "It's beautiful! But, Wally, do you know what happens when the moon is full?"
Wally shook his head. "What happens?"
Benny sat down, his big paws resting on the soft grass. "When the moon is full, some wolves change into werewolves! They howl and run fast!"
Wally's ears perked up. "Werewolves? That sounds exciting! I want to see one!"
Luna looked worried. "But Wally, they can be scary! What if they chase you?"
Wally smiled bravely. "I'm not afraid! I want to see for myself!"
As the moon rose higher, Wally felt a strange tingle in his paws. "I feel funny!" he said, bouncing up and down.
Suddenly, a shadow moved through the trees. Wally froze. "What was that?" he whispered.
Benny pointed with a paw. "Look! Over there!"
A tall figure stepped into the moonlight. It was a big werewolf with glowing eyes and sharp teeth. Wally's heart raced. "Wow! It's huge!"
The werewolf looked down at Wally and smiled. "Hello, little wolf! My name is Wren."
Wally blinked. "You can talk?"
"Of course!" Wren laughed. "But don't be scared. I'm friendly. I only change during the full moon."
Luna whispered, "What do you do as a werewolf?"
Wren sat down, his fluffy tail curling around him. "I run through the forest and help other animals. I make sure everyone is safe."
Benny asked, "But what if someone is scared of you?"
Wren nodded. "I understand. It can be scary to see a werewolf. But I promise, I only want to help."
Wally thought for a moment. "I want to help too! Can I join you?"
Wren's eyes sparkled. "Absolutely! Together, we can show others that being different is wonderful."
Luna clapped her paws. "That's a great idea, Wally!"
Wally felt happy and brave. "Let's go on an adventure!"
With Wren leading the way, they ran through the moonlit forest. They helped a lost bird find its nest and showed a scared rabbit that it was safe to come out of its burrow.
When they returned, Wally felt proud. "I discovered something! It's fun to help others, and being different is special!"
Wren nodded. "Yes, little wolf. You are brave and kind."
"Thank you, Wren!" Wally said, his heart full of joy.
As the moon began to fade, Wally realized he was not just a little wolf; he was a helper, a friend, and someone who understood that everyone is unique in their own way.
And from that night on, Wally, Luna, Benny, and Wren had many more adventures together, always celebrating their differences under the bright, shining moon.
