Part 1: Meet Mr. Tim

"Good morning, kids!" said Mrs. Green, the teacher. "Today, we have a special guest."

The children in the classroom looked at each other with big curious eyes.

"Who is it?" asked Lucy, bouncing in her seat.

"You'll see," Mrs. Green smiled. "Let's give a big hand to Mr. Tim, the musician!"

The door opened, and in walked Mr. Tim. He had a big smile on his face and carried a shiny guitar.

"Hello, everyone!" said Mr. Tim. "I'm so happy to be here!"

The kids clapped and cheered. Max, who loved music, was especially excited.

"Wow, a real musician!" Max whispered to his friend, Sam.

Mr. Tim sat on a small stool and put his guitar on his lap.

"Do you know what a musician does?" he asked.

"They play music!" shouted Lucy.

"That's right," said Mr. Tim. "We play music and make people happy. Would you like to hear a song?"

"Yes!" all the kids shouted together.

Mr. Tim started to play his guitar. The sound was soft and sweet. The children swayed to the music.

"This song is called ‘Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star'," said Mr. Tim. He began to sing, and the children joined in. They sang and laughed together.

When the song finished, Mr. Tim asked, "Do you know what else musicians do?"

Max raised his hand. "Do you write songs?"

"Yes, we do," Mr. Tim said. "Musicians often write their own songs. Would you like to write a song with me?"

"Yes, please!" the children cheered.

Part 2: Writing a Song

"Okay," said Mr. Tim, "let's write a song about animals. What's your favorite animal?"

"Elephants!" shouted Sam.

"Elephants are great!" said Mr. Tim. "What do elephants do?"

"They have big trunks and make loud sounds," said Max.

"Good," said Mr. Tim. "How about this: 'The elephant has a big trunk, it makes a sound like a honk!'"

The children giggled. "That's funny!" said Lucy.

"Now we need a tune," said Mr. Tim. He played his guitar and sang, "The elephant has a big trunk, it makes a sound like a honk!"

The kids clapped their hands.

"Let's add more animals," said Mr. Tim. "What's next?"

"Bunnies!" said Lucy.

"What do bunnies do?" asked Mr. Tim.

"They hop and eat carrots," said Sam.

"Perfect," said Mr. Tim. "How about: 'The bunny likes to hop, it eats carrots till it stops!'"

Mr. Tim played the new line on his guitar, and the kids sang along. They were having so much fun.

"Now we have two animals," said Mr. Tim. "Let's add one more. What animal do you like, Max?"

Max thought for a moment. "I like birds," he said.

"Birds are lovely," said Mr. Tim. "What do birds do?"

"They fly and sing," said Max.

"Great," said Mr. Tim. "How about: 'The bird flies in the sky, it sings a song so high!'"

Mr. Tim played the whole song on his guitar, and the children sang along:

"The elephant has a big trunk, it makes a sound like a honk!

The bunny likes to hop, it eats carrots till it stops!

The bird flies in the sky, it sings a song so high!"

The children clapped and laughed.

Part 3: The Big Performance

"Would you like to perform our song for Mrs. Green?" asked Mr. Tim.

"Yes!" said all the kids.

"Okay," said Mr. Tim. "Let's practice one more time."

They sang the song again, and it sounded even better. They were ready!

Mrs. Green came back into the room. "Are you ready to show me what you've learned?" she asked with a big smile.

"Yes, we are!" said Max.

Mr. Tim started playing the guitar, and the children sang their new song proudly:

"The elephant has a big trunk, it makes a sound like a honk!

The bunny likes to hop, it eats carrots till it stops!

The bird flies in the sky, it sings a song so high!"

Mrs. Green clapped her hands. "That was amazing!" she said. "You all did such a great job!"

The children were so happy and proud.

"Thank you, Mr. Tim," said Max. "We learned so much!"

"You're very welcome," said Mr. Tim. "Remember, music is fun and it's something you can do anytime. Keep singing and playing!"

As Mr. Tim left, the children waved and called out, "Bye, Mr. Tim! Thank you!"

Max turned to Sam and said, "When I grow up, I want to be a musician just like Mr. Tim."

"And we can write songs together," said Sam.

The classroom was filled with laughter and music, and everyone had a wonderful day.
